NARVA Introduces The Ultimate Driving Light

The advanced new Ultima L.E.D 215, just introduced to New Zealand, could just be the best driving light in the world.

Three years in development by NARVA’s industrial design and engineering development team, and benchmarked against the best available around the globe, the new flagship model sets a new standard in auxiliary driving lights.

Engineered to suit the demanding driving conditions in our part of the world the new lamp benefits from the development of a class-leading hybrid beam pattern that delivers a better spread of light for those travelling long distances on-road, as well as being highly suited to off-road use.

“Unlike most other driving lights on the market, the new Ultima L.E.D 215 has been developed by a NARVA team based in Australia that understands the driving environment in both countries,” says Tim Paterson, National Sales Manager of NARVA New Zealand.

“It provides the right amount of light spread for drivers to be able to see well into the distance when there is no other light source around and also provides excellent visibility directly in front of the vehicle, which makes for much safer driving on dark nights.”

And, in a nod to fashion trends, a unique and totally customised appearance can be achieved with the availability of up to twelve colour combinations of outer bezel changes from standard satin stainless to a gloss black or chrome plated bezel, along with attractive inner trim colour changes from standard blue to black, red and yellow.

But it is the performance of the new light that will ultimately win over drivers.

To deliver superior light demanded by those who spend a lot of time on the road or going bush, the new lamp incorporates enhanced optics that use advanced 33 x 5W XP-G2 Cree® L.E.D’s and a highly polished, super-efficient, metallised computer-designed reflector to generate 165W of pure white light (5,700ºK). This results in a class-leading output combining volume for off-road 4WD users and distance for truck drivers and other road users.

The new Ultima driving light has a number of unique features, including a clever new advanced L.E.D Light Pipe that meets the required ADR specifications for a Front Position light, adding a valuable road safety feature to an already spectacular light.

With years of experience behind them, the team placed great emphasis on the housing design and the decision was made that both the housing and the mounting bracket would be constructed from pressure die-cast aluminium offering superior strength and weight saving.

Mounting systems were studied and the three-bolt mounting design ultimately provides strength and stability whilst a unique tool-free vertical adjustment knob allows easy adjustment of the light when required.

The all-new NARVA Ultima L.E.D 215 driving light is now available from leading automotive outlets throughout New Zealand.e the driver of this Kenworth.
