Big Red LED Light Bar Kits For Campers

Just in time for the summer season, a new range of handy 12-Volt LED light bars has been introduced to New Zealand by Griffiths Equipment, designed especially for camping and outdoor activities.

Measuring 50cm in length, the new camping light bars feature durable aluminium housings and an array of powerful surface-mount LEDs that provide a broad spread of light.

Complete with a magnetic base, the new Big Red Light Bars are available in complete 2-, 4- or 6-bar kits and come with all accessories required, including a handy carry bag for easy stowage.

The bars are fully sealed with waterproof connectors and may be joined in a daisy chain or used separately with the supplied splitters. Simply connect to a 12-Volt supply with the included cigarette lighter/merit plug and extension leads and mount the bars to a magnet-friendly surface or use the Velcro straps that also come with the kit.

All kits include a pair of dual colour light bars, which combine white and amber LEDs to provide a warm amber light that does not attract insects – ideal for areas such as food preparation and for relaxing during and after dinner on warm evenings.

The Big Red 4- and 6-bar kits include additional 2x and 4x white-only LED bars, respectively, for general lighting use.

Dual colour bars have an individual on/off switch for convenience and power saving, whilst the main system switch includes a dimmer function to create the perfect amount of light.

The versatile light bar kits are ideal for the awning, tent or recreational vehicle, making them popular with campers, adventurers, boaties or for anywhere that ambient lighting is required from a 12v source.

And because they use LED’s they require no maintenance, have low power consumption and a life expectancy of more than 50,000 hours use.
