Narva Jumbo upgraded

One of the most widely used commercial vehicle lamps on the market, commonly referred to as the ‘Jumbo’, has been upgraded……and still retains its big footprint.

Following extensive development and testing, NARVA has released its much anticipated Model 49 rear combination lamp in New Zealand.

The new lamp fits the same footprint as its predecessor Model 48 ‘Jumbo’ and is sure to be as popular as its predecessor, which has dominated the transport industry on both sides of the Tasman.

Available in various function and colour configurations, the new Model 49 features a continuous neon-like L.E.D light-pipe that frames the lamp’s borders and meets the ADR performance regulation for tail lamps.

Much like the lighting on some prestige European cars, this creates a modern, signature appearance for the truck or trailer, because the L.E.D light pipe stays illuminated when the other functions are off. The stop, indicator and reverse functions are activated on the inside of the tail lamp with high-quality optics to gain the attention of those following.

Thanks to the sleek and slimline design – just 46mm deep – there are no visible screws or mounting holes, which provides a more modern style. Snap-in retro reflectors cover these components to provide a flush appearance, whilst the lamp inserts themselves are replaceable with the reflectors removed. Although, replacement is unlikely as the lamps are made with virtually unbreakable polycarbonate lenses and come backed by NARVA’s 5-year L.E.D warranty for peace of mind.

All version of the new lamp suit 9-33V and come prewired with 0.5m of cable for ease of installation.

NARVA New Zealand says the new Model 49 lamp is available in several specifications with coloured or clear lenses, including; triple tail, stop and rear direction; triple tail, stop, reverse and rear direction; and twin tail, stop and rear direction.
