Rechargeable L.E.D Strobe – Strobes are an indispensable health & safety tool for mobile equipment, forklifts and vehicles, and now lighting specialist, NARVA, has developed a unit that is easier and safer to use, which has just been introduced to New Zealand.
For occasional users of L.E.D strobe lights, the inconvenience in powering these lights via a cord into the vehicle’s accessory/lighter socket has been a major drawback.
That’s because the cord can trail across the dashboard and interfere with instruments, in addition to looking messy and potentially causing a distraction.
But NARVA’s new Sentry Pro amber strobe light (Part No. 85322A) solves this by providing the convenience of rechargeable, cord-free operation together with L.E.D performance and up to five hours of operating life courtesy of its high quality 2200mA Lithium battery.
“The days of having to put up with a wayward lead from a strobe light snaking through the window and across the dashboard are over – the new Sentry Pro is a safer and much more convenient option,” says Tim Paterson, National Sales Manager for Griffiths Equipment, distributor of NARVA lighting and electrical products in New Zealand.
“Even without a power cord, the Sentry Pro works exceptionally well and has a long operating period between charges.”
The Sentry Pro features 12 high intensity L.E.D’s providing an impressive light output that meets the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) ‘Class 1’ requirements under SAE J845.
The new strobe will also stay in position on a roof or metal surface in adverse weather conditions thanks to a strong, non-scratch, magnetised base that allows the beacon to hold fast in up to 120km/h winds, making it ideal for outdoor, as well as indoor use.
With its heavy-duty, fully sealed (IP65) construction, virtually unbreakable polycarbonate lens, solid-state circuitry and no moving parts, the Sentry Pro is well suited for use in the toughest applications including high-flow transport environments from warehouses, docks and railyards to civil construction sites and roadsides.
Recharging the Sentry Pro on the go is easy, with the included 12V accessory/lighter socket cable, or alternatively a 240V charger is also available at an additional cost (Part No. 85323).
For peace of mind, this strobe is backed by a 5-year L.E.D warranty and can be purchased from leading automotive outlets throughout New Zealand.
