Compact NARVA ‘Sentry Micro’ L.E.D Personal Road Safety To The next level

At the scene of a breakdown, traffic accident or any hazardous roadside or construction location, visibility is a major priority, especially in dim conditions or at night time.

Vehicles attending emergencies or those working in hazardous areas can now benefit from a new L.E.D strobe that is highly visible and yet compact enough to stow in a glovebox or centre console when not required.

Just introduced to the New Zealand market, NARVA’s new ‘Sentry Micro’ Rechargeable L.E.D Strobe is lightweight and at only 54mm tall, it is a very handy personal road/site safety device that can be ready to go at a moment’s notice.

The Sentry Micro is equipped with 8 x 1W L.E.Ds to provide a powerful output that is visible in even the most difficult conditions. It also offers four flash pattern options including two rotating, SOS and steady-on functions.

“Having a handy strobe like the Sentry Micro means that it can be carried around in a vehicle, or swapped between vehicles easily, without needing to have one permanently fitted to the roof,” says Tim Paterson, National Sales Manager for Griffiths Equipment, which distributes NARVA lighting products in New Zealand.

“In addition to emergency staff, the Sentry Strobe would also be handy for road and construction managers, contractors, service technicians and others who need to visit a hazardous site and have their vehicle visible for safety reasons.”

Positioning the new strobe to a vehicle is easy – the powerful integrated magnets provide secure mounting, even at up to 60km/h and the strobe’s felt-lined base will ensure no scratches to the paintwork.

This versatility, as well as the fully sealed and weatherproof design that complies with IP65 and SAE Class 1 output, means that the Sentry Micro is also ideal for light commercial and construction applications and is legal to operate on any job site.

To ensure the strobe performs at its best year-after-year, it features a diecast aluminium base, a virtually unbreakable polycarbonate lens and a reinforced top cover.

The Sentry Micro is equipped with a lithium battery that can handle temperatures up to 80°C while offering consistent charge retention, even when not used for long periods.

Depending on the flash pattern selected, users can expect a generous run time of between 2-to-7 hours before recharging via the supplied micro USB cable.

NARVA’s new Sentry Micro Rechargeable L.E.D Strobe is backed by a 3-year L.E.D warranty and can be purchased from leading automotive outlets throughout New Zealand.
